In collaboration with the student council of the University of Tuebingen, the Studentenwerk (Student Services) publishes the brochure Kunst & Kultur (Art & Culture) each semester which presents over 30 musical and cultural groups in Tübingen.
Furthermore, students and young artists have the opportunity to present their works in the cafeteria clubhouse (Wilhelmstrasse 30, Tübingen).

Dear friends of music, art and culture
especially while studying one should take some time for other things than studying. However, often the head is somewhere else and notices very little of life outside of the libraries, and therefore we want to let you know about the many cultural groups and the associated opportunities with the new issue of Kunst und Kultur. There will be many new concerts and projects during the summer semester 2011 that will help you take your mind off things and relax. Some have already developed new ideas or got new insights during one of these cultural evenings, because just like Goethe said: art helps to bring well-hidden ideas to light. The orchestras and the choirs have again put together an interesting program. Whether its dancing, singing or some other form of art, the program includes a bit of everything, and the group looks forward to visitors and even new participants.
The drawings inside the magazine and on the magazine’s cover are from Peter Flynn who has a special approach to things. Each of his pieces is unique and surprising. It is totally worth your while to have a look into the cafeteria Clubhaus where his work is currently on display along with images by Hiltrud Wirtz.
