Psychotherapeutic Counseling
What do the psychotherapeutic counseling centres do?
The psychotherapeutic counseling centre (psychotherapeutische Beratungsstelle = PBS) are there for you when you are in a difficult situation during your studies.
Counseling and treatment for mental health problems, such as:
- Labor and concentration problems
- Test anxiety
- Contact difficulties
- Partner problems and sexual problems
- Difficulties with parents
- lack of confidence
- physical (psychosomatic) complaints
- Problems in and with university
- Questions of your way of life
- Depressed moods
We offer single and pair discussions. There is permanent staff as well as student advisors available. The consultations are for free (included in the student services fee).
At the university areas of Tuebingen, Reutlingen, Stuttgart-Hohenheim, Nürtingen and Geislingen we cooperate, in addition to our own psychotherapeutic counseling centre in Tübingen, with other carriers such as the Studentenwerk Stuttgart and church institutions.
In one or more counseling sessions with professionals you will get suggestions for changes or recommodations for self-help and possibly information about further treatment options. Of course, the consultations are strictly confidential.
