We have summarised the most important information on advertising opportunities in our refectories here.

How it works

There are various advertising options in our university catering facilities. Flyer and poster advertising, promotional stands and digital adverts are generally possible.

Applications for advertising services can only be made online. Please complete the form below first. Incorrect information or misuse may result in a request for authorisation no longer being granted in future, even if you are authorised to do so in principle. If you have any questions, please get in touch with the following contact persons.

Hinweis

Each request must be received by us at least one week before the desired publication date. Otherwise, it cannot be assumed that a decision on the request will be made in good time. Delays due to illness must be expected. There is no legal entitlement to the use of the monitor systems provided by us.

Notes

Please consider the following important information when planning your advertising campaign in our facilities:

Permitted Advertising Formats:
The following forms of advertising are allowed in the dining halls of the Studierendenwerk:
- Flyer display and distribution (not on tables),
- Poster placement,
- Promotional stands,
- Screen advertising (digital displays).
Banner advertising and flyer placement directly on tables are not permitted.

Bulletin Boards:
For private notices (e.g., housing offers, job searches), bulletin boards are available in the dining halls. These may be used without prior approval. Important: Each notice must clearly display the date of posting. Notices will be removed after approximately four weeks during regular inspections.

Prohibited Content:
Flyers, posters, or promotional activities with the following content are not permitted:
- unconstitutional, discriminatory, sexist, racist, defamatory, or degrading content,
- shocking or repulsive imagery,
- advertising for commercial events (e.g., parties – including charity events – or commercial products),
- advertising for food service providers (e.g., pizza delivery, bakeries, restaurants, etc.),
- content that opposes the interests of the Studierendenwerk.

Violations:
Unauthorized or improperly disposed advertising materials will incur a disposal fee of €50 (incl. VAT). Repeated violations may result in permanent exclusion from advertising opportunities in our facilities.
