BAföG Info Point & Legal Advisory Service Relocating
From February 2026, the Studierendenwerk will once again offer its advisory services closer to students. The BAföG InfoPoint is moving from its temporary location in Keplerstraße back to the Wilhelmstraße campus.
Due to the relocation, the BAföG InfoPoint will be closed from 26 to 2. February 2026.
The BAföG InfoPoint will reopen on 3 February 2026 at its new location at Wilhelmstraße 19, room 019. Students can visit during the following times:
Monday: 10:00–11:30 a.m. and 1:00–3:00 p.m.
Tuesday: 10:00–11:30 a.m. Wednesday: 08:30 a.m.- 12.30 p.m.
The BAföG InfoPoint provides advice on general BAföG-related questions, submission of documents, and BAföG applications. Please note that questions regarding the status of individual applications cannot be answered.
The legal advice service offered by our lawyer Sabine Gehweiler will also be located in room 019. From February 2026 onwards, consultations will take place exclusively on Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and on Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
With the new location, both advisory services are once again easily accessible and closely connected to everyday student life.
