New PBS Group Training: Relaxation Skills
At the end of April/beginning of May, the PBS team offers group training sessions in which students can learn about and try out effective relaxation techniques.
Are you often stressed? Do you find it difficult to switch off? Do you feel like you are rushing through your studies and sometimes lack the time to take a breath and relax? Stress management and relaxation are important factors for our mental and physical health. In our hectic daily lives, it can be hard to relax and de-stress, which can lead to physical and mental ailments. By learning how to relax and reduce stress, we not only improve our physical and mental health, but we are also better able to cope with challenges and demands in everyday life.
This group training is aimed at all students who want to learn about different relaxation methods and try them out right away. The central aim is to support you in finding an individually suitable form of relaxation and integrating it appropriately into your own everyday life.
The training includes
- Knowledge transfer on the topic of stress and relaxation
- Information and practical exercises on progressive muscle relaxation, breath relaxation, mindfulness techniques, imagination and short exercises for everyday life.
With the help of exercises to do at home, you can apply and consolidate the newly learned strategies in a real-life environment.
