Refectory & Cafeteria Prinz Karl
Tübingen
Tübingen
Lunch starts at 11:15 am
Refectory and Cafeteria Prinz Karl, located at the heart of the old town in Tübingen, are some of the oldest student eating places in Germany. Students have been able to eat and drink here since 1900. The catering facility is named after King Karl I. who studied in Tübingen as a prince.
Students and staff from the Tübingen universities – but also local citizens – can enjoy items from a plentiful breakfast buffet in the mornings in an informal atmosphere with historical pictures on the walls. The cafeteria is then open until the early evening without a break and offers various coffee specialities, cakes and other bakery products, filled rolls, snacks, ice creams and drinks.
