Welcome to the Waldhäuser-Ost student village!
We are your new tutor team from the summer semester 2025 and look forward to shaping this semester with you!
As part of the student self-administration, we are responsible for making life in the hall of residence a little more colourful. Whether it’s parties, excursions or other events, we regularly plan something where you can meet new people and simply have a good time.
We are also there for you if you have any questions or problems about living at WHO – whether organisational, everyday or just because. We especially want to support our international flatmates in arriving in Germany and help with any uncertainties.
You can find our current events on Instagram. If you have any questions, please send us an email and we can also arrange a personal meeting.
We look forward to a great semester with you!
Best regards

Hello everyone,
we are Bhargavi Ramkumar and Alexander Waizel, the tutors for the Hartmeyerstraße residence halls. As international tutors, we are always your contact persons if you have questions about living in the residence halls, if there are any issues in your shared flat, or if you simply need support settling in.
You can find our contact details on the notice boards in both residence buildings. Don’t worry — we don’t bite and are always happy to help, even in rain and bad weather!
Bhargavi is from India and is currently in her 9th semester of medical studies. In her free time, she enjoys dancing, baking, and giving excellent movie recommendations. Alexander is in his 8th semester of law studies. He enjoys hiking and has a special interest in organizational charts and administrative law.
Every semester, we look forward to organizing fun activities with you, such as picnics in the Old Botanical Garden, game nights, St. Nicholas celebrations, bowling evenings, and much more. You can find the latest updates about upcoming events on the notice boards and in our residence hall WhatsApp group.
If you have suggestions or ideas for group activities or excursions, feel free to reach out to us — we’re open to everything!
