Cafeteria Morgenstelle

The cafeteria in the Morgenstelle refectory is the largest cafeteria in the Studierendenwerk with 790 m² and 400 seats. It has been serving the students and university staff of the science faculties since 1974. In 2016, it was extensively renovated and now shines in new splendour. Its modern, black and white design in particular is a visual highlight.  Walls, benches, coffee bar and workstations adhere to this colour concept. Thanks to different geometric patterns, no piece of furniture is like the other. In addition to the black and white look, the cafeteria impresses with a diverse range of products. In addition to the usual selection of various cold drinks, sweets, sandwiches and snacks, there are freshly squeezed juices, coffee specialities and cakes. Hot dishes are also available. Front cooking at the wok, griddle or pizza oven allows guests to watch their food being prepared live.

The cafeteria is divided into three areas. These include a lounge area, a work area and a consumption area. The lounge area invites you to linger and relax with large, circular and individually designed seating as well as a coffee bar. The work area is equipped with 50 workstations, power sockets and university WLAN. In the dining area, there are numerous standing and seated tables where our guests can enjoy their meal.
