Our mission statement

The Studierendenwerk Tübingen-Hohenheim is “the service company for students and universities” in the Tübingen-Hohenheim university region.

We make customers the focus of our service activities – whether they are guests in a refectory, tenants in a hall of residence, applicants for BAföG, children in a day care centre or people seeking advice – in order to meet the expectations and wishes of students and universities with consistent quality levels.

Students are directly involved through their student services organisation contribution and influence the development of the student services organisation through the delegate committee with representatives from the universities.

The goal of the Studierendenwerk is not only to meet students’ current aspirations, but also to set trends and push ahead with innovations in the fields of care, residential opportunities, educational support, child care and offering advice. We make every effort to combine cost-effectiveness and environmental compatibility in a sustainable manner.

We want to help shape university life as a social institution serving several universities and as a partner for students and universities.
